'The only true voyage would be not to visit strange lands but to possess other eyes' (Marcel Proust). Incorporating playful camera techniques these works visualise imagined non-human worlds of spiders, arthropods, and pets that share our suburban spaces. These works speculate on alternative perspectives and the existence of hidden worlds that we cannot perceive. While it is so easy for us to simply exist in our own 'umwelt', could the awareness of other worlds foster an appreciation in us to preserve the biodiversity of our planet? This project was produced in partnership with Megan Green.
